# Create a Notion account

> Set up your free Notion account so you're ready to install and use any Notion Rhino template.

You'll need a Notion account before you can use any of our templates. Notion has a generous free plan that covers everything you need to get started.

## Sign up

    Visit [notion.so](https://www.notion.so) and click **Get Notion free**.

  <Step title="Choose how to sign up">
    You can sign up with your **Google account**, **Apple ID**, or any **email address**. Google or Apple is the fastest option.

  <Step title="Set up your workspace">
    Notion will ask you a few questions about how you plan to use it. Choose **For myself** if you're setting up a personal workspace, or **With my team** if you're setting up for a group.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You're in">
    Notion will drop you into a default workspace. It comes with a few example pages — you can keep them or delete them. Either way, you're ready to install your first template.

## Free vs. paid plans

For using Notion Rhino templates, **the free plan is enough**. You don't need a paid Notion subscription to duplicate or use any of our templates.
